Gillian Top Pattern
THIS IS A PDF GUIDE ON HOW TO CREATE THIS TOP- NOT A PHYSICAL OBJECT!
The Gillian top is an adv beginner/intermediate, made to measure crochet pattern! This top is a beautiful transitional piece for the fall and spring. Featuring a closed back but lacy open sleeves, it offers a lightweight airy feel as well as security. This top is worked from the ribbing up, with sleeves built out of the bust after connecting.
To make this piece, you will need: fingering weight yarn (sample uses KFO cotton merino), scissors, 7 stitch markers, a darning needle and a measuring tape.
Upon purchase you will receive a file containing the pattern, followed by the tester look book with yardage guidance and estimates after the last page of the pattern. You can view information about this below!
This pattern was tested for clarity and size by a wonderful team of crocheters! You can see their photos both on the listing and in the look book for inspiration with listed yardage. Below you will also find the suggested yardage guide for the top based on a culmination of test input. As this top is made to measure, the yardage recommendations are estimates based on the size you typically wear in tops. When in doubt, round up! These estimates are for the top as written, which has short sleeves and is slightly cropped. If you are doing extra alterations to the top such as long sleeves or extra bust coverage, add extra to the estimate.
Xs (800) S (900) M (1000) L (1,100) XL(1,200) XXL (1,350) 1X (1,500) 2X (1,600) 3X (1,700) 4X (1,800)
If you have any questions, please feel free to message me through etsy or via email (emmastone73@gmail.com)! Please do not DM on social media, I likely will not see it. I am here to help with anything you may need. Thank you for supporting my small business, and I can't wait to see your creations!
